Frequently Asked Questions
1. How Much Will My Rent Be?
Our units are income based, so rent varies according to your adjusted gross family income.
2. Is a Deposit Required?
Yes, we do require a deposit. Deposit amounts will vary based on the selected complex and the amount of your rent. We do allow the deposit to be paid in installments.
3. What Other Information is Required to Apply?
It is very important to complete the rental application in full. Provide us with your TOTAL household income, past landlord information, employer name and address, and source(s) of income. We will also require a copy of your last pay stub, any Social Security award letters, support docket (if received), and copies of bank account statements.
4. Is There an Application Fee?
Yes. There is a $20 application fee for each adult that will be occupying the unit. This fee covers the cost of a credit bureau report, which is required for each adult applicant. The fee must be paid at time of application and is non-refundable. A check or money order must accompany the completed application. We do not accept cash.
5. What is Acceptable Credit?
If you have had some credit issues and want to discuss them prior to completing the application, please feel free to call our office to discuss. We can assist you by explaining our credit/background requirements. We require acceptable credit and background checks for each adult occupant.
